About the Role: We are seeking a talented WordPress developer to join our team and lead a potential redesign and optimization project for our eCommerce website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, with a focus on WooCommerce, and a passion for creating exceptional online shopping experiences. Responsibilities: Conduct a thorough analysis of the existing website, identifying areas for improvement in functionality, user experience, and SEO. Redesign and optimize the website using WordPress and WooCommerce, ensuring seamless integration with existing plugins and graphics. Develop and implement custom features and functionalities to enhance the website's performance and user engagement. Optimize the website for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic. Integrate and troubleshoot various payment gateways to ensure secure and efficient transactions. Develop strategies for selling digital products and implement wholesale pricing structures. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the website, addressing any technical issues or updates. Requirements: Proven experience in WordPress development, with a strong focus on WooCommerce. In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Understanding of SEO best practices and ability to optimize websites for search engines. Experience with integrating and troubleshooting payment gateways. Familiarity with digital product sales and wholesale pricing strategies. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure. Bonus Skills: Experience with website performance optimization and speed testing. Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
