**Job Title: Welder/Fabricator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team on the 1st shift (5am-3pm), Monday through Friday. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and is located in Canton, OH. The ideal candidate will perform MIG welding on mild steel materials, fit and fabricate parts, and utilize blueprints to execute precision welds.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding on mild steel materials.
+ Fit parts together and fabricate components.
+ Grind, use cutting torch to cut metals, and form steel.
+ Utilize blueprints to perform precision welds.
+ Operate overhead crane to move machines and parts.
+ Use hand and power tools to complete job duties.
+ Utilize measurement tools to perform quality checks of welds.
+ Assist with brazing copper components.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2-3 years of MIG or TIG welding experience.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform general labor duties.
+ Experience reading blueprints.
+ Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Flux welding.
+ Knowledge of blueprint reading and measuring tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with heavy equipment building and pipe-fitting.
+ Brazing experience.
+ Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment, machines, and vehicles.

**Work Environment**
This is a heavy industrial environment focused on machine building. The facility is large, busy, and fast-paced, with parts everywhere due to an overflow of work. The North Canton location specializes in fabrication and rebuilds of old equipment. Employees must be open to working 45+ hours per week, including Saturday mornings when required (6am-10am). The machines built here are unique, with no two being the same, and the blueprints and schematics are complex.
