Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Southern Illinois, USA

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in our manufacturing facility located in Illinois. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper documentation of all inventory movements.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipments to meet production and customer demands.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and implement process improvements.
• Train and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.
• Collaborate with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to align warehouse activities with business goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
• years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations.
