Role : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Shift : 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Night Shift)
Guarantee Hours : 40
Location : Vestal, NY 13850
Contract Weeks : 13
Unit : LTC & Rehab Unit
Days : Mon to Fri, 3rd shift - 10:45pm to 7:15am
Pay Rate : $32 to $34 Hourly

Role Highlights :

• Provide nursing care to residents under the supervision of RNs and physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes in condition.
• Assist with daily living activities for patients, including feeding, bathing, and dressing.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.

Required Skills & Experience :

• Previous experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and patient care.
• Experience working in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is a plus.

Education :

• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required Certifications & Licensure:
  • Active LPN License in New York State
  • BLS/ALS Certification
  • Driver’s License (Preferred)
  • Covid Vaccination or Signed Declination

Languages :

• English (Speak, Read, Write)

• Hours Per Week : 40
• Hours Per Day : 8
• Days Per Week : 5
• Schedule Notes :
  • Shift: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • 3rd shift, nights
  • 13-week contract duration
  • County operated, 300-bed facility
  • RTOs and availability to start required
  • If they cannot do the full 13 weeks, please specify contract length
