Job Summary:
The Residential Plumbing Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing plumbing crews on residential job sites, ensuring all installations, repairs, and maintenance services are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. This role involves supervising field operations, coordinating schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and providing technical support to plumbing teams. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive residential plumbing experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Supervision & Leadership: Manage and direct plumbing crews, ensuring high-quality workmanship and productivity.
• Project Coordination: Plan and oversee daily job site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and material procurement.
• Quality Control: Ensure all plumbing work complies with residential building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on complex plumbing installations and troubleshooting issues in water supply, drainage, and gas systems.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations, local plumbing codes, and company safety policies to maintain a secure work environment.
• Customer Relations: Serve as the primary contact for homeowners, addressing concerns, explaining work performed, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Training & Mentorship: Mentor and train plumbing technicians, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
• Inventory & Equipment Management: Ensure proper tools, equipment, and materials are available for each job and manage supply levels.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve potential job site issues, such as unforeseen plumbing complications or scheduling conflicts.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, incident reports, and project progress.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or plumbing certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in residential plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid plumbing license (as required by state/local regulations).
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using plumbing tools, equipment, and relevant software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in various conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor settings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

This role requires frequent travel to residential job sites, working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The position may involve lifting heavy materials, working in tight spaces, and occasionally responding to emergency service calls.
