Mavis Tire is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hybrid Cloud & On-Premises Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing IT team at our Westchester County, NY headquarters. You will play a key part in managing our IT infrastructure, both on-premises and within Microsoft Azure. In our high growth environment, the candidate must be able to shift priorities to meet evolving business needs and market demands. Candidates must be comfortable with rapid changes, capable of reprioritizing tasks, and adept at problem-solving in fast-paced situations. The ideal candidate thrives in such an environment, demonstrating resilience, quick decision-making, and effective multitasking to successfully navigate and contribute to our ever-changing landscape. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: On-Premises & Network Administration Installation, configuration, and maintenance of on-premises servers and network devices Diagnosing and resolving complex network connectivity and hardware/software issues Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security best practices for systems Microsoft Azure Expertise Partnering with team members to re-architect Azure infrastructure, enhancing redundancy, scalability, and security Provisioning and managing Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and databases Implementing and configuring Azure security policies, such as network design, access control and data encryption Overseeing Azure AD/Entra ID and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations, focusing on automated provisioning and streamlined user management Monitoring Azure for performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing changes to maintain optimal functionality Optimizing Azure spending to ensure cost-effectiveness The Ideal Candidate Will Possess: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 4+ years of experience in a system administration or IT engineer role Minimum 4+ years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk engineer role Strong understanding of on-premises server administration, networking concepts, and TCP/IP protocols Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including resource provisioning, security configuration, and access management Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills A high level of flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and opportunities A Plus If You Have: Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms beyond Azure (AWS, GCP, Cloudflare) Certifications in Microsoft Azure or related technologies (AZ-xxx) We Offer: A competitive salary and benefits package The opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects A collaborative and supportive work environment If you are ready to take your IT career to the next level, we encourage you to apply! #J-18808-Ljbffr Mavis Tire Supply
