We’re currently hiring in Oak Lawn, Illinois to support a district in need of Registered Nurses.School Health Office RN Contract Details:

• $47 – $51 an hour
• Schedule follows the school district calendar
• Certified School Nurse needed for the rest of the 2024-25 school year for 35 hours a week.
• The Certified School Nurse will be completing medical reviews for the purposes of IEPs and 504s.
• The Certified School Nurse will be needed for a Preschool program.
• RN will see students on an as-needed basis in the school health office
• Nurse will be working in collaboration with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardian(s) to promote physical and emotional safety and wellness
  Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems
• Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services or treatment
• Maintaining Student Records while complying with state and federal screenings
• Promoting education and wellness initiatives

Requirements:

• Illinois RN License
• Registered Nurse is required to have a Professional Educator License certification as School Nurse through the Illinois State Board of Education.
• American Heart Association BLS
• Prior school setting or pediatrics experience
