Job Description

Land Survey Technician Wyoming, MN As a Land Survey Technician at Widseth, you'll be mainly in the office working on data for a variety of residential and commercial projects and boundary surveys, topographic and ALTA surveys, easement and flood insurance surveys, and commercial construction staking. If you love using Civil 3D for variety of projects, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Your focus will be on:

• Using Civil 3D to produce CAD documents and assist Professional Surveyors with deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal descriptions, and computing survey boundaries.
• Preparing topographic and contour maps of land surveyed, including site features and other relevant information, and completing survey notes in a timely manner.
• Interacting with clients and/or contractors. Teamwork and good communication are important.

To be considered for this position you'll need to meet the minimum qualifications for a technician role:

• 2 + years related experience working as a technician in the office.
• Associates degree in Land Surveying or Civil Technology.
• Knowledge of survey equipment such as GPS, Total Station, and data collector.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Valid driver's license.
