Seeking a dedicated and experienced Custodial Night Lead Supervisor for a position in Newport News, VA, US. Leadership role involving overseeing and actively participating in custodial operations. The ideal candidate exhibits strong leadership skills and deep knowledge of custodial practices. Responsible for upholding the Department of Energy's strict standards for cleanliness and safety. Benefits include Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick Leave. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, totaling 30 hours per week.

$22 - $24 hourly

• Lead and supervise custodial staff during night shifts at the Newport News, VA facility.
• Ensure all cleaning assignments are carried out according to contract requirements and schedules.
• Provide training to employees on custodial procedures, safety standards, and equipment usage.
• Enforce safety policies and standards for the custodial team.
• Address customer complaints and requests promptly and with care.
• Perform various cleaning tasks such as office and restroom cleaning, trash removal, and event set-ups.

• Must have documented experience as a Custodial Supervisor in a commercial setting.
• Proficient in proper custodial procedures, including knowledge of cleaning tools, machines, and chemicals.
• Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities are essential.
• Demonstrated capacity to train, supervise, and manage custodial teams effectively.
• Experienced in developing and implementing action plans to enhance processes.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to understand cleaning instructions and differentiate between cleaning products.
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Own transportation and a valid driver’s license are mandatory.
• Must pass JLAB training requirements and background check.
