Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Construction Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. This is a sales position that is part of an expanding sales team, which will require an individual with high level critical thinking skills and a willingness to learn. Personal drive, grit, and the determination to grow and win are critical in this role.In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers in the construction industry. You will work closely with the Director of Sales Management to develop and implement strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving a pickup truck with tow-behind trailer

Demonstrating equipment to customers

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with potential customers in the construction industry

Maintain and build relationships with existing customers to increase sales and customer loyalty

Understand the needs and requirements of customers and recommend the appropriate construction equipment and services to meet those needs

Negotiate sales contracts and close deals effectively

Display at industry trade shows and events to network and promote our products and services

Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions using our CRM system

Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by management

Requirements:

Knowledge of concrete surface preparation and polishing equipment is preferred but not required. Training on our specific products will be provided.

Demonstrate the ability to learn and execute a sales process that delivers results for the customer.

Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years sales equivalent work experience in sales, field sales or customer service required.

Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Must have a valid United States driver’s license in your state of residence.

Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Report screening.

Ability to work in a variety of environments when meeting with customers and assessing product needs.

Capable of lifting and transporting heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and requesting assistance as needed.

Applicant must be MS Office proficient and possess solid analytical skills.

Overnight travel is required however this can vary.

Ability to manage your schedule without constant oversight.

Must be an initiative-taker with drive to achieve more each day.

Solid teaching skills, along with a strong technical aptitude is required.

Ability to maintain a strong customer service focus is necessary.

Aptitude to adjust one’s behavior to deal effectively with other people.
