Description and Responsibilities

JOB TITLE : Bell Person

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO : Director of Operations

DEPARTMENT : Front Service

DEPARTMENT HEAD : Director of Operations

1. Welcome and assist all patrons of DELAMAR in a warm, helpful and friendly

manner.

2. Position ones self so that the front arrival area of the hotel is manned at all

times.

3. Ensure that the main hotel entrance driveway, front doors, lobby entrance area

and sidewalks are immaculate at all times.

4. Assist arriving and departing guests with luggage according to Standards and

Procedures.

5. Secure taxis for guests

6. Ensure that the hotel entrance is accessible without hazards and difficulties.

7. Control traffic in front of the hotel entrance.

8. Maintain control of the entire loading zone in front of the hotel.

9. Keep Front Desk advised of limos waiting for guests.

10. Familiarize yourself with daily functions and hotel activities.

11. Have knowledge of all hotel departments: their function and location.

12. Maintain tidiness of work areas at all times.

13. Familiarize yourself with Valet Parking procedures and rates.

14. Familiarize yourself with nearby parking facilities and their operating hours.

15. Have knowledge of hotel's emergency procedures.

16. Attend training as required

17. Will be required to assist in other departments or with other tasks when

needed and requested by Management.

Qualifications

1. Have to be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

2. Have a valid drivers license with a clean record

3. Good customer service skills

4. Must be well spoken and have great interpersonal skills

5. Must have a flexible schedule and an ability to work weekends and holidays GREENWICH HOSPITALITY GROUP
