Presque Isle, ME - FT/Nights - Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Job Description:

Immediate openings for Bag Catchers to work for a well-established business in Presque Isle. Great entry-level position for workers that like to stay active; no previous experience required. Full-time/Nights; 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM Mon-Thur, and 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday; $15.50/hr.

The Bag Catcher will retrieve finished products from the production floor and sort items onto pallets for warehouse storage. Employees may also assist the production team as needed. Must be able to move/lift up to 40 lbs. and be comfortable walking, standing, and crouching on concrete floors.

Responsibilities:

• Move/lift products coming off an assembly line and organize them for storage and/or shipment.
• Use pallet jacks and forklifts to move product and materials around the facility as needed, established safety guidelines.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance work to keep the facility safe and presentable.
• Organize tools and materials to ensure that items are accessible and available for use.
• Assist production team as requested by site supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Good communication skills - must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions as needed.

Schedule: Full-Time/Nights; 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM Mon-Thur, and 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday.
Pay: $15.50/hr.
